چکیده
Various radionuclides including fission products and heavy nuclides were released into the environment during Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (FDNPS) accident. The dissolution followed by migration of deposited Cs, Sr U on soils could take place to local environment. Therefore, it is necessary determine sorption-desorption coefficients in soil-water system around FDNPS from a viewpoint. determination sorption coefficient Kd(S) as well desorption Kd(D) for has been carried out present study using laboratory batch method. Stable was used simulated ground water onto contaminated soil samples collected Okuma Town, Fukushima. Different parameters measured understand their effects processes. obtained values compared with Cs Kd(S)–U known accident reported literature better understanding. It observed that varied 160 5100 L/kg, whereas Kd(D)-U ranged 200 11000 L/kg. higher than these implying irreversibility process. Pearson's correlation suggested affected various parameters. However, decided nature species formed process like pH, presence carbonates, Ca ions, clay minerals etc. some extent. comparison between revealed unsorbed migrate farther or under experimental conditions. Both studies are great importance metal ions sites uncontaminated areas.

In the areas contaminated by radioactive materials due to the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station accident, many residents are exposed to radiation through various exposure pathways. Dose assessment is important for providing appropriate protection to the people and clarifying the impact of the accident. The aim of this study is to provide preliminary results of the assessment of radiation ...

This paper focuses on the surface contamination control of slightly contaminated property after the Fukushima nuclear accident. The operational level for the unconditional release of contaminated properties is calculated in counts per minute (cpm) to enable the use of a typical Geiger-Muller (GM) survey meter with a 50-mm bore, on the basis of the surficial clearance level of 10 Bq cm(-2) for (...
متن کاملRadiation Dose Reduction Efficiency of Buildings after the Accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station
Numerous radionuclides were released from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (F1-NPS) in Japan following the magnitude 9.0 earthquake and tsunami on March 11, 2011. Local residents have been eager to calculate their individual radiation exposure. Thus, absorbed dose rates in the indoor and outdoor air at evacuation sites in the Fukushima Prefecture were measured using a gamma-ray measu...
